For eyebrow microblading I expect three to four sessions six to eight weeks apart. Older, already faded pigment often goes faster; very dark pigment or brows that have been redone several times sometimes need one session more. After a first look at your brows I'll give you a concrete estimate.

Yes. The PicoSure's pulses are far too short to destroy hair follicles – that would take completely different lasers with long pulses. During the treatment phase individual hairs may look a little lighter; afterwards they grow back in their normal colour and density.

With the correct settings and proper aftercare, the PicoSure does not cause scars. What occasionally becomes visible are fine scars from the microblading itself that were previously hidden under the pigment. If you are prone to keloids, please tell me before the first session.

Yes, that happens. Many permanent make-up pigments contain iron oxides that can temporarily look darker, grey or greenish under laser light. That is not a mistake but an intermediate step – the altered pigments can be broken down further in the following sessions. I test this on a small spot before treating the whole brow.

Most people describe it as a brief snapping sensation, comparable to a rubber band on the skin. A session only takes 10 to 20 minutes. I always offer a numbing cream for the brow area; after the first test pulse, many decide against it.

CHF 100 per session, regardless of duration. With three to four sessions you end up at 300 to 400 francs. The initial consultation is free; aftercare cream and aftercare are included. Health insurance does not cover cosmetic treatments.

Please don't. The skin must be completely healed, otherwise the risk of scarring rises significantly. Allow at least six to eight weeks after the microblading or touch-up. Feel free to send me a photo already, and we'll plan the first appointment.

Allow about an hour for the first visit; further sessions take around 30 minutes including preparation. Immediately afterwards the area is red as after mild sunburn. After one to three days nothing is visible; you should skip make-up for two weeks.

Yes. Once the old pigment is gone and the skin has fully regenerated – usually two to three months after the last session – nothing stands in the way of new microblading or powder brows. Many clients also have only part removed to make a new shape possible.

Most of my clients come from exactly there. Kreuzlingen is just over an hour from Zurich by train, around 45 minutes from Winterthur and St. Gallen; the clinic is three minutes from the station. With three to four appointments at CHF 100 per session, it quickly pays off compared with Zurich prices.
