The four questions almost every client asks me first.
Will there be scars?
The PicoSure shatters the pigment with pressure rather than burning it with heat. The surrounding tissue stays intact – which is why, when applied correctly, I see no scarring.
Will my brow hairs fall out?
No. The pulses are far too short to permanently damage hair follicles. Individual hairs may look lighter during treatment and then continue to grow normally.
How much does it hurt?
Most people compare it to the snap of a rubber band. A session takes 10 to 20 minutes. If you're sensitive, you get a numbing cream beforehand – I always offer it for the brow area.
What does it all cost?
CHF 100 per session, fixed price. With 3 to 4 sessions you end up at 300 to 400 francs. The initial consultation and the assessment of your microblading are free.

How it works
From the first photo to clear brows.

A sharp picture of your brows via WhatsApp is enough. I usually get back to you the same day with a first assessment.
STEP 2
Initial consultation
In Kreuzlingen I look at the pigment, its depth and your skin type. If you like, we start with the first session right away.
STEP 3
Laser treatment
10 to 20 minutes per session. The skin reddens briefly and you can go straight back to your day.
STEP 4
Let it fade
One session every 6 to 8 weeks. After the third or fourth, there is usually nothing left of the microblading.

How many sessions do I need to remove microblading?
For eyebrow microblading I expect three to four sessions six to eight weeks apart. Older, already faded pigment often goes faster; very dark pigment or brows that have been redone several times sometimes need one session more. After a first look at your brows I'll give you a concrete estimate.
Will my natural eyebrow hairs grow back normally?
Yes. The PicoSure's pulses are far too short to destroy hair follicles – that would take completely different lasers with long pulses. During the treatment phase individual hairs may look a little lighter; afterwards they grow back in their normal colour and density.
Does it cause scars?
With the correct settings and proper aftercare, the PicoSure does not cause scars. What occasionally becomes visible are fine scars from the microblading itself that were previously hidden under the pigment. If you are prone to keloids, please tell me before the first session.
Can the colour change during removal?
Yes, that happens. Many permanent make-up pigments contain iron oxides that can temporarily look darker, grey or greenish under laser light. That is not a mistake but an intermediate step – the altered pigments can be broken down further in the following sessions. I test this on a small spot before treating the whole brow.
